David has over 30 years’ experience providing mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and strategic advice. Prior to establishing Kidder Williams, David was the Managing Director of Challenger Corporate Finance, Head of the Melbourne corporate finance office of SG Hambros, Head of M&A at ANZ McCaughan, and Head of M&A at Arthur Andersen.
David holds an Honours and Master’s degree in Economics and conducted Ph.D. research on Cooperatives and their capital structures. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. David is Chairman of ASX-listed companies; Medical Developments International Limited; PolyNovo Limited and RMA Group Limited.
Tim joined Kidder Williams in 2006. He advises publicly listed and large private companies on mergers and acquisitions (buy and sell side), initial public offerings and equity capital raisings. Tim has considerable experience managing transactions in food and agriculture with a particular focus on the dairy, almond, sugar and forestry industries. Prior to joining Kidder, Tim worked in audit and assurance services for a South Australian Chartered Accounting firm.
Tim graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting.
Daniel has over 18 years’ experience in Mergers & Acquisitions working in Australasia, Europe, the US, China and the Pacific, advising major local and multinational clients across a broad range of industries on transactions of up to A$6b. Daniel’s expertise is in deal origination, strategic buy- and sell-side advice, deal and contract negotiation, financial and commercial due diligence, merger integration and synergy assessment, takeovers and IPOs for companies in the Agriculture, FMCG, Industrial Products and IT sectors. Prior to joining Kidder Williams in 2007, Daniel worked for 10 years at KPMG and PwC in Assurance & Business Advisory, Transaction Services and Corporate Finance.
Daniel is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce & Arts from Monash University.
John joined Kidder Williams in August 2017 after 30 plus years at EY. For the six years to 30 June 2016, John was based in Hong Kong as the Asia-Pacific Managing Partner of Transaction Advisory Services, helping private and public companies and governments achieve long-term competitive advantage by advising on all aspects of their capital agenda. John has focussed on the resources, utilities and infrastructure sectors, advising on corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures with corporations and financial buyers, spin-offs from public companies, greenfield projects and initial public offerings.
John has Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Melbourne University, is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. John is a Director of Greening Australia, a not for profit company dedicated to restoring and conserving Australia’s unique landscapes.
Alex joined Kidder Williams in 2015 after working at a mid-tier accounting firm for 9 years in the Business Services and Tax divisions. During this time Alex was a trusted advisor for businesses and high net worth individuals from a wide range of industries providing business, tax and structuring advice.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT University and is a member of Certified Practising Accountants of Australia.
James joined Kidder Williams in June 2015 after 7 years with Maybank Investment Bank’s Investment Banking & Advisory division. He has executed various mergers & acquisitions, project finance, business valuation and corporate finance transactions across both debt and equity capital markets products as well as credit assessment for corporate bilateral facilities. James has experience in Australian food and agriculture sectors as well as other sectors, covering infrastructure (power & utilities and tollways), hospitality & gaming, healthcare, Real Estate Investment Trust, food & beverage and telecommunication in Southeast Asia.
James is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) member and holds a BSc (Hons) Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University Business School.
Boon Keat Chan
Boon joined Kidder Williams in February 2017 with 13 years of experience across corporate finance and advisory, corporate strategy, and audit and assurance in consumer automotive, telecommunications, and property and technology investments industry in the Southeast Asia region. He has successfully advised clients in IPOs, mergers & acquisitions (buy and sell side), capital raising / project financing, and corporate restructuring. Prior to joining Kidder Williams, Boon worked with the Naza Group, Kenanga Investment Bank, and PwC Malaysia.
Boon is a member of CPA Australia and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
Nathan joined Kidder Williams in February 2017. Nathan’s corporate finance experience includes M&As, capital raises and strategic reviews for both public and private companies. He has helped advise on both sell-side and buy-side transactions across various industries including infrastructure (power and utilities), agriculture and food and beverage. Prior to Kidder, Nathan worked for three years at a number of chartered accounting firms in Audit, Business Advisory, Restructuring and Corporate Finance.
Nathan holds a Bachelor of Business (First Class Honours) from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Saul joined Kidder Williams in June 2017. During his time at Kidder, Saul has worked in various roles for clients including the preparation and presentation of financial models, M&A pitches and extensive industry and company research.
Saul is completing a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting & Finance at the University of Melbourne.
Lily joined Kidder Williams in November 2017. Lily holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology from Melbourne University and an honours degree in Psychological Science from the Australian Catholic University.
