Kidder Williams Limited originally part of the Mariner Group has
set up on its own in December 2005. Kidder Williams has been established
as a boutique Corporate Finance Advisory business. The business
provides Advisory services to a range of corporate clients, including
private and publicly listed companies based in Australia and overseas.
The majority of the teams work has been providing Mergers and
Acquisitions and Capital Raising advice. Kidder Williams also
advises private companies and the ASX listing process and bringing
them to market.
The team has experience across all industries, but has a particular

David Williams ~ has more than 20 years experience in providing corporate advisory services. Prior to establishing Kidder Williams, David was the Managing Director of Mariner Corporate Finance, Managing Director of Challenger Corporate Finance, Head of the Melbourne corporate finance office of SG Hambros, Head of M&A at ANZ McCaughan, and Head of M&A at Arthur Andersen. David holds an Honours and Masters degree in Economics from La Trobe University.
Daniel Levy ~ Daniel has 15 years’ experience in Mergers & Acquisitions working in Australia, China, Europe and the US, advising major local and multinational clients across a broad range of industries on transactions of up to A$6b.
Daniel’s expertise is in deal origination, strategic buy- and sell-side advice, deal and contract negotiation, financial and commercial due diligence, merger integration and synergy assessment, takeovers and IPOs for companies in the Agriculture, FMCG, Industrial Products and IT sectors.
Prior to joining Kidder Williams in 2007, Daniel worked for 10 years at KPMG and PwC in Assurance & Business Advisory, Transaction Services and Corporate Finance. Daniel is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce & Arts from Monash University.
Tim Faulkner ~ Tim joined Kidder Williams in 2006. Since then he has worked on various advisory assignments including mergers and acquisitions (buy and sell side), initial public offerings and equity capital raisings for both publicly listed and large private companies.
Tim has considerable experience managing transactions in myriad industries including travel, forestry, retail, financial services and manufacturing and has played prominent roles in transactions in the property, gaming, dairy and food and beverage industries.
Prior to joining Kidder, Tim worked for three years in audit and assurance services for a South Australian Chartered Accounting firm. Tim's audit experience was wide-spread but with a particular focus on manufacturing and retailing companies.
Tim graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting.
Nick Marshall ~ Nick joined Kidder Williams after working for over 6 years at Pitcher Partners in both the Business Advisory & Assurance and Transaction Services divisions. During this time, Nick worked on various advisory assignments including mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, financial analysis and business valuations across a broad range of industries including food and agricultural, transport and apparel.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Accounting) from Melbourne University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Nitin Maduvinkody ~ Prior to joining Kidder Williams, Nitin worked for over 4 years at Pitcher Partners in the Business Advisory & Assurance and Corporate Finance divisions. During this time, Nitin was responsible for providing corporate finance and transaction advisory services in relation to mergers and acquisitions, business and options valuations, capital raisings, transaction due diligence investigations and financial analysis across a range of industries for small to large entities.
Nitin holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Accounting and Finance from Monash University and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
James Chuah ~ James joined Kidder Williams after 6 years with Maybank Investment Bank’s Investment Banking & Advisory division. He has executed various mergers & acquisitions, project finance, business valuation and corporate finance transactions across both debt and equity capital markets products as well as credit assessment for corporate bilateral facilities. James has experience in sectors covering infrastructure (power & utilities and tollways), hospitality & gaming, healthcare, Real Estate Investment Trust, food & beverage and telecommunication in Southeast Asia.
James is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) member and holds a BSc (Hons) Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University Business School.
Alex Macdonald ~ Alex joined Kidder Williams after working at Morrows for over 8 years in the Business Services and Tax divisions. During this time Alex was a trusted advisor for businesses and high net worth individuals from a wide range of industries providing business, tax and structuring advice.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT University and is a member of Certified Practising Accountants of Australia.
